SUZANNAH GAULKE was a St. John’s Cemetery Project intern in the latter part of 2016 in partial fulfilment of requirements for a course offered by the Department of History, University of Sydney. During her internship, Suzannah was a volunteer research assistant and transcriber who enthusiastically contributed thoughtful blog posts on the SJCP blog.
