This stone marker at (R.28.A) is not Dodd’s grave: it merely points cemetery visitors to the row containing Henry Dodd’s grave, located at (R.28.D). It is the only such marker in the entire cemetery, owing to the fact that Dodd’s grave holds special significance as the oldest surviving European grave with headstone in situ in Australia.
